L’origine di queste maschere in legno risale, pensate un po’, ad uno strumento di uso quotidiano: la sessola. Come vedete dall’immagine, si trattava di uno strumento utilizzato per raccogliere la farina o i chicchi di granoturco da portare al mulino.
