Le rocce sono elementi portanti del paesaggio dolomitico: dalle tonalità lievi dell’arenaria a quelle più accese del Rosso Ammonitico, dalla scaglia rossa feltrina alle zeoliti dell’Agordino, la meraviglia di colori e sfumature che cambiano con la luce emozionano e si imprimono nella memoria dei tantissimi appassionati. Rocks are a fundamental part of the Dolomite landscape: from the pale shades of sandstone to the brilliance of red ammonite, and from the "scaglia rossa" of Feltre to the zeolites of Agordino. Their wonderful colours and shades change with the light, delighting their many enthusiasts and leaving a lasting impression on the memory. But rocks are not only like beautiful pictures; they are also like books containing the history of millions of years, recorded in a way that seems unchanging, but in fact continues to evolve over the ages.
