Oggi in Val Pesarina in occasione della demonticazione viene organizzata una grande festa paesana il secondo weekend di settembre "Arlois e fasois" che unisce cultura gusto e tradizione, con mercatino dei prodotti tipici di malga (formaggi, ricotta = "scueta frescja", "scueta dura, salâda, secjâda e gratâlada, "scueta franta", burro = "spongjâ"). L’evento è l’occasione anche per celebrare i due prodotti tipici di questa incantevole e appartata valle della Carnia, in Friuli Venezia Giulia, dominata dalle vette delle Dolomiti Pesarine: gli orologi (arlois) e i fagioli (fasois) coltivati negli orti di tutte le famiglie e in piccole aziende agricole, apprezzati per la purezza del loro seme.
