                <text>Passeggiata di un paio di ore, all’interno del Parco Naturale delle Dolomiti Bellunesi, nel comune si Sospirolo, nella Valle Del Mis, disabitata. Siti e dislivelli: Lago Mis (433m)- Gena Media (577m) – Gena Alta (800m)- Valle Soffia (785m). Si parte dal ponte (433 m) sul Lago del Mis, bacino artificiale costruito negli anni cinquanta, che ha fatto abbandonare la Valle dai suoi abitanti. In località Gena Bassa, si sale per la stradina forestale asfaltata fino al paese di Gena Media (577 m); poi si prosegue per Gena Alta (800m). Oggi Gena è completamente disabitata; è avvolta in un silenzio surreale a cui fa eco il rumore delle cascate della val Soffia. Prima della costruzione della strada, il villaggio era accessibile solo a piedi o con carri. Alcune case sono state recuperate per essere utilizzate nei fine settimana o per pochi giorni nella stagione estiva.  Ecco come Dino Buzzatti descriveva la Valle del Mis: 'Esistono da noi valli che non ho mai visto da nessun altra parte… Invece esistono: con la stessa solitudine, gli stessi inverosimili dirupi mezzo nascosti da alberi e cespugli pencolanti sull’abisso le cascate d’acqua… La valle del Mis per esempio con le sue vallette laterali che si addentrano in un intrico di monti selvaggi e senza gloria, dove sì e no passa un pazzo ogni trecento anni, non allegre, se volete, alquanto arcigne forse, e cupe. Eppure commoventi per le storie che raccontano, per l’aria d’altri secoli, per la solitudine paragonabile a quella dei deserti'. (tratto da La mia Belluno)</text>

                <text>Tirè al scopetón è l’antica tradizione che gli ertani hanno conservato e che ripetono ogni anno, per dare l’addio al Carnevale e annunciare la Quaresima, periodo di digiuno, di penitenza e quindi di sacrificio. Gli uomini avvolti nelle loro mantelle, calzano scarponi chiodati e portano con sé gli attrezzi tipici del bosco: la barìl (barilotto per l’acqua), funi col stròth ( chiodo con anello per il traino), al thapìn, (zappino), utili per il trascinamento de le tàie (dei tronchi), manére (scuri). Sulla pala di un vecchio badile troneggia al scopetón l’aringa e intorno, il groviglio di corde e catene, le cui estremità sono tenute in mano dai boscaioli, formando un lungo traino. Quando tutto è pronto il corteo si avvia per le strade del paese, imitando la fatica del duro lavoro del boscaiolo che trascina il tronco, sostituito dal scopetón.&#13;
Al grido del capo boscaiolo che chiama al colpo, tutti devono tirare con forza per farlo avanzare, fingendo sforzi enormi.&#13;

La settimana scorsa abbiamo percorso le strade con loro, abbiamo osservato le loro maschere e ci siamo immersi in questa tradizione che persiste nonostante gli anni.&#13;

Il Carnevale Tradizionale di Valfloriana va in scena ogni anno il giorno del sabato grasso, ed è conosciuto in tutta la zona per essere uno dei pochi carnevali folcloristici dell'arco alpino che sono sopravvissuti nel tempo.&#13;
Caratteristica peculiare del Carnevale dei 'Matoci'è l'usanza antica dei cortei nuziali, che percorrono tutte le frazioni del paese e coinvolgono la popolazione locale.&#13;
Le maschere in legno di cirmolo che prendono il nome di 'Facere'sono solo una parte dello show offerto, che dipende - come si può ben immaginare - proprio dai 'Matoci'. Questo momento non è altro che una rievocazione storica dei giorni passati quando, per avere la possibilità di passare di paese in paese, era necessario far fronte al sistema di pedaggi e dazi da pagare.&#13;
&#13;
I fatti della vita paesana sono inscenati dai Paiaci, che indossano costumi bizzarri e maschere di legno. I 'Matoci'impersonano gli stranieri che in passato stupivano per le loro abitudini e il diverso modo di vestire.&#13;
Altro elemento immancabile è il cosiddetto Contrest, che consiste in uno scambio di battute tra i'Matoci'e gli spettatori, con domande e risposte tanto fulminee quanto bizzarre, ma non si può dimenticare il controllo dei documenti casarecci, senza cui per i Matoci è impossibile procedere. -R&#13;
