                  <text>Il Museo Longarone Vajont – Attimi di Storia racconta l’immane tragedia che ha segnato in modo indelebile un intero territorio, strappato alla vita la notte del 9 ottobre 1963. È l’impegno a mantenere viva la memoria di quanto accaduto: nel ricordo delle 1.910 vittime e nella profonda commozione per il coraggio dei superstiti che, in uno stato di totale annientamento, hanno coltivato la speranza nel domani. In italiano, “veratro”&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: 400;"&gt;Questa pianta era una risorsa preziosa, con una miriade di utilizzi che si intrecciavano con la vita quotidiana e le tradizioni dell'epoca.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: 400;"&gt;La bollitura della sua radice non solo produceva un antiparassitario potente per proteggere il manto dei bovini, ma offriva anche un rimedio efficace per curare la rogna degli ovini, grazie all'unguento che ne derivava.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: 400;"&gt;Ma non finiva qui: l'acqua profumata delle radici, dopo la sua elaborazione, diventava una tintura preziosa, utilizzata per colorare i tessuti di mezzalana. Un'arte antica che dava vita a vestiti vibranti di tonalità naturali.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: 400;"&gt;Questo sapere antico, benché non incarnato in oggetti esposti nei luoghi di memoria come il Museo delle Attività di Trasformazione e del Latte di Lozzo, rivela la profonda importanza che aveva nella cura e nella protezione del bestiame, una parte fondamentale della vita rurale dolomitica di un tempo.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#13;

Vive in prati umidi e nei pascoli di quota. Pianta con radici molto velenose, che a volte vengono confuse con quelle, invece innocue, della genziana gialla usata per aromatizzare la grappa. Il veratro si usava per tingere i vestiti di mezzalana, si cuoceva con l'acqua e poi vi si immergevano i tessuti nella tintura. Le pezze si coloravano di un verde pallido, grigio. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;i&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: 400;"&gt;Varda de no sbaliate a tole su radis, che no te confonde l anziana col rosćio&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: 400;"&gt; (trad. italiana: guarda di non sbagliarti a raccogliere radici, rischi di confondere la genziana con il veratro) (&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: 400;"&gt;Dizionario della gente di Lozzo&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: 400;"&gt;, 2004).&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#13;

Le migliori venivano cedute ai commercianti dei paesi limitrofi, le altre erano accatastate in enormi mucchi e poi destinate alla trasformazione in confetture ed alcolati presso le distillerie di Bassano e Pederobba. &lt;br /&gt;Per la raccolta erano utilizzate lunghe scale di legno ed sulle quali i raccoglitori si arrampicavano fino ad una altezze di 8-100 indossando dei camicioni chiusi in vita a formare un sacco ove riporre fino a 30- 40kg di frutti. &lt;br /&gt;Abbiamo potuto recuperare questa ottima varietà di mele grazie ella collaborazione con L'ASSOCIAZIONE MELE ANTICHE DI MONFUMO che ringraziamo per grande impegno nella difesa della biodiversità veneta.</text>

Gli altipiani di Fanes e Senes sono caratterizzati da fenomeni di carsismo nelle forme più svariate: campi carreggiati, fenditure, pozzi, doline e caverne. All’interno dell’area protetta vi sono inoltre vari laghi tra cui il lago di Braies, nella cui acqua si specchiano le massicce pareti rocciose della Croda del Beco, e il lago di Dobbiaco, la cui riva sud è caratterizzata da prati umidi, importanti habitat per molte specie d’uccelli acquatici.                 <text>&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: 400;"&gt;La &lt;/span&gt;&lt;i&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: 400;"&gt;Sagra dei Carmegn&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: 400;"&gt;, ovvero la festa della Beata Vergine del Carmelo, è una delle ricorrenze più importanti per la comunità di Selva di Cadore. Si tratta di una festa che i fedeli di Selva hanno celebrato per secoli con grande devozione. L’origine della ricorrenza si situa nel 1628 quando, a causa di frane che minacciavano l’abitato, la popolazione fece voto di costituire una confraternita in onore della Madonna del Carmine.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: 400;"&gt;Alla Santa Messa partecipano uomini e donne con l’abito tipico della festa (&lt;/span&gt;&lt;i&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: 400;"&gt;muda da maor festa&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: 400;"&gt;), la statua della Madonna viene portata in processione dai coscritti (i giovani che durante l’anno raggiungono la maggiore età) e viene scortata dai pompieri volontari, mentre le bambine cospargono la strada di fiori al suo passaggio. L'antica statua della Vergine Maria rientra nella tipologia iconografica delle "Madonne vestite": si tratta di statue abbigliate e adornate con un sontuoso abito di stoffa e altri monili che la impreziosiscono.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: 400;"&gt;Questa festa è caratterizzata anche dalla fiera e da momenti di intrattenimento che si svolgono nell’arco della giornata.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
