All of you see a beautiful mountain (range) when you look at Kühwiesenkopf/Monte Prà della Vacca in the Dolomites, most of you my friends will see stratified rocks and think about the depositional environments there. When I look at this outstanding mountain I feel myself sitting in the shade of some cycads and conifers, surrounded by herbacous ferns and lycophytes. I smell salty water and feel the warm tropic wind caress my hairs and feel the hot, tropical sun on my skin. I have fun looking at some small Megachirella-lizards playing in front of me and hunting after insects. And I'm looking forward to eat some grilled fishes, ammonoids and bivalves. And thanks to Davide Bonadonna I'm even able to show you everything that I see.</text>
