                  <text>Il Parco naturale Fanes-Senes-Braies presenta un tipico paesaggio dolomitico, e ampie zone del parco hanno un’importanza scientifica di rilievo per la loro complessa geomorfologia. Gli altipiani di Fanes e Senes sono caratterizzati da fenomeni di carsismo nelle forme più svariate: campi carreggiati, fenditure, pozzi, doline e caverne. All’interno dell’area protetta vi sono inoltre vari laghi tra cui il lago di Braies, nella cui acqua si specchiano le massicce pareti rocciose della Croda del Beco, e il lago di Dobbiaco, la cui riva sud è caratterizzata da prati umidi, importanti habitat per molte specie d’uccelli acquatici. Le piene improvvisate causate dalle piogge torrenziali danneggiavano gravemente le strutture realizzate per gestire le acque necessarie al funzionamento dei magli. Celebri sono le alluvioni del 1708, 1823 e 1890, con l'ultima del 1966. Nel 1890, la vallata di Zoldo subì gravi danni, come documentato nella Guida del Museo del Ferro e del Chiodo e le fotografie da 1 a 4 testimoniano visivamente gli impatti devastanti dell'alluvione sulla comunità locale, concentrando l'attenzione sugli effetti nel paese di Forno.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#13;

                <text>&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: 400;"&gt;Il termine &lt;/span&gt;&lt;i&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: 400;"&gt;brondin&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: 400;"&gt; anche nel cadorino indica la pentola di bronzo, un utensile da cucina fondamentale nella vita quotidiana e lavorativa montana. Questo recipiente, simile a un piccolo paiolo, veniva utilizzato per riscaldare e preparare i pasti della famiglia sul focolare. Come si può notare anche dalle foto, il brondin è un recipiente panciuto, munito di tre piedi e un manico, utilizzato sia per la cottura dei cibi che come elemento decorativo.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#13;

L’austerità quaresimale, qui in Cjanâl come in altre zone della Carnia e del Friuli, aveva un momento di sospensione a metà periodo quando era previsto il rito di brusâ la vecja: coda carnevalesca e rito di espulsione della Quaresima-inverno. La compagnia di giovani innalzava un medêli, quindi fissava un traliccio orizzontale, poi altri minori completavano la struttura che veniva 'vestita': Si la vistiva di fassuz, quarz di cjanas, pergalarias, patisc’, filias di fasois… insomma, materiali infiammabili e, ad un tempo, simbolo della stagione 'morta', 'arida'. Il fuoco alla vecja veniva quindi innescato, al termine i resti del fuoco venivano depositati sulla soglia di casa della donna più vecchia del paese, inscenando una sdrondenada. Qualche vecchia si offendeva, mentre altre si prestavano al giorco.&#13;
